This may or may not qualify for the December Draw Off competition, but I'll be submitting it anyway.
It was based off this [link] and I wanted to redo it, because whoever did it isn't an artist (or, at least, not a good one) and I reckoned I could do a better one.
But that's why it might not qualify, it was based on something, and I was told by the guy who's doing the competition that it was a treading the line a little too closely on stealing, which is against the rules.
But I can submit it as a noncompeting piece, just to show it off.
We'll see.
EDIT: It does qualify, yay!

Oh Rarity, your mane and tail are a nightmare! Especially in this lineless style.
I do enjoy the architecture in this show, I have a whole bunch of screencaps just for the houses.
EDIT: Oh yeah, when I was drawing this I gave Rarity a coat thingy, and then, exactly as I am colouring, official winter outifts are released, and I had more or less gotten it right. All I had to change was the colour and add a jewel.

Anyway, I'd like to take this opportunity to ask:
Anyone interested in a comission? Either in this picture book style, with or without ponies, or anything else at all?

I'd love to start doing comissions, and I was wondering if anyone would be interested. Let me know if you are, I'll write a journal about prices soon.

I'm very pleased to hear that, but I've got a currant comissioner who ordered 4 full illustrations, and another person waiting in queue. I can put you in third, if you wish?
It'll be at least a few weeks though, before I get you.

Eh, it's only fair, I reckon. I closed comissions after two, then two more (latter is you) enquired. Honestly, didn't think I'd even get one. I just think it would be kinda lame of me to put those prices there and not follow through.
After I get to and finish yours though, might have to stop comissions for a bit. I should probably get around to not being a jobless bum, and finally work on my showreel.

Don't be so flippin' humble! I'm surprised you didn't get OVER 9,000!!! Your art is amazing, and I want it on and around my walls... When should I note you re: commission proposal?

Thank you. I've just never been used to so much praise before, it's really quite foreign to me, my default action is to be humble about it.

I apologise for not being faster. I'm still doing a set of four large commissions for one person, and then another person after her. I'm trying to do them as fast as possible but real life keeps getting in the way. This month especially, thanks to my dumb university graduation.
I'll update the commission journal when I'm done with each commissioner, but a rough estimate I can take your commission details will be the end of january, I'm afraid.
I apologise for the wait, and I hope you're still interested.

Thanks, my colour choices are one of the few things that I think sets me apart, even if just a little, so it makes me happy when people compliment it.
And I do so love texturey art.
