paint practice

Painting practice.
I'll put it in scraps, but I thought I'd upload it in gallery to see if anyone would like to comment and possibly crit.

Practicing different painting styles. Messier ones are more personal, faster stuff. Cleaner is for more all purpose, defined art. Although I don't consider either good enough.

The bushy thing and box are from Bastion. God I love the art in that game.

Harley, because I've been watching lots of BTAS lately (original costume is best costume). Need to draw/paint more of her (and batman and joker).

That Twi was made with a totally custom brush, first one I ever made that wasn't just a slight tweak of a pre-existing one.

First Pinkie I didn't use a ref so she ended up really dark because I'm an idiot. The second, proper colour Pinkie took longer, and still not defined enough.
And yes, I did draw her a little pudgier than normal. I've drawn them all with more unique body types, just need to get around to painting them all in a lineup.

But the next thing I need to do is paint a proper image, setting and lighting etc. I have just the thing in mind.
