Hello

Been a long time.
I haven't been on DA much at all in the past few years.  I stopped drawing fanart to focus on the basics, and since then, began working for a small games studio halfway across the country, which has been fantastic!  And, amazingly, I got that job because of someone I met on DeviantArt!  Still pretty crazy to think about.  I used to be unemployed, then working in a shitty part time retail job, and then thanks to someone I befriended on the internet, I got a job where I get to draw all day!  It's not the best art job out there, not my dream job, but it's a million times better than anything I've done before. I'm super grateful for it.  I've worked retail and cleaning jobs, literally shitty jobs, and I'm so grateful to be where I am, where my art skills mean something, and getting paid a good wage to do it.
Make friends on the internet. You never know how it might help.

I used to draw fanart because it was fun. It is fun. But in my spare time, I don't draw it anymore.
If anyone is following this account for fanart reasons, and my lack of activity hasn't spelled it out, then sorry, but that's not really gonna change.

I'm not de-activating this account.  I like having it, in case I do want to put stuff up here. At some point I may start uploading non fanart stuff.  But I don't upload much of anything, cause it's mostly exploratory sketches and basics and junk I don't feel like uploading.  That may change. May not. Don't know. I've been doing Inktober this year, maybe I'll upload those.

I don't know who will read this. But for some reason, I thought I should clarify where I disappeared to all these years. In my defence, these past few years have flown by for me; my life changed immensely.
I was just thinking about DA the other day, realised how long it's been since I last uploaded anything, or wrote a journal. This site used to be very important to me. Been visiting since 2003/4 or so. Maybe it's because I had my 28th birthday this month, and I'm getting nostalgic...
